Updating the app changed the language

Today I updated the app (09/02/2024) and, as many of the reviews mentioned (some reviews from about a year ago), the language in the app was changed. This was not a problem before updating the app. I should also add; as I went into the settings to change the language there was no clear icon indicating where to change the language, therefore making it a hassle (especially for new users) to change back to their desired language.
