Top Songs

I like the app but I am having an issue with my top songs. Often times on Spotify there will be instances of the same song appearing on different albums, compilations etc. In my playlists I usually tend to add the song from its original album or single. For instance, The Rolling Stones’ song ‘Gimme Shelter’ appears in all of my playlists on Spotify as being part of the ‘Let It Bleed’ album. However, in my top songs on this app it’s currently appearing as being a part of a soundtrack for a film titled ‘The Vietnam War’. Another instance is the Oasis song ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’, which I always take from the deluxe remastered edition of ‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?’. However, for some odd reason at the start of this year the app changed it so that I was listening to what I believe is a Japanese release of the track in which the title appears in full capitals. However, the streams did not transfer over, so it effectively reset my streams of the song. Not only this, but there are a couple of songs in my current top 100 for the year that I have, with 100% certainty, say I have never listened to. Is there a resolution to this?
