The page that opens after clicking on a notification becomes the new default page when i next open the app

For example I’ll click on a recap notification and now whenever i open the app instead of getting the home page I’ll see that same recap which I then need to exit out of twice to get to the home page. Stays like that until I click on a different notification which then replaces it. Happens on both ios and android
