Spotify streams are not syncing properly with Stats.fm

Hello,

I'm having a problem syncing my streams between Spotify and Stats.fm.

When I listen to music on Spotify through my phone, some streams don’t show up in my Stats.fm stats. This happens even when I listen to the songs all the way through, and sometimes I listen to the same song multiple times.

When I have sessions where I listen to a lot of songs, Stats.fm logs some of them, but others just don’t show up. It seems to happen randomly. The songs usually appear in Spotify’s “Recently Played” history, but they don’t show up in Stats.fm.

I have a Stats.fm Plus subscription, and the “Synced Streams” option is turned on.

I’ve tried several solutions:

• I confirmed that Spotify’s “Private Session” is turned off;

• I checked my listening activity settings;

• I confirmed that “Synced Streams” is enabled in Stats.fm;

• I disconnected and reconnected my Spotify account to Stats.fm;

• I listened to full songs on my phone and waited for them to sync.

Even after doing all of this, the problem persists.

The strangest thing is that this didn’t happen before, and I’ve been using Stats.fm for quite some time. It also doesn’t happen the same way when I listen to music on my PlayStation.

Could you check if there’s a problem with syncing my Spotify account with Stats.fm or with retrieving my recent streams via the Spotify API?
