Streaming history

I just wanted to ask — what happens if I delete my older imported Spotify streaming data? I recently added newer import files, but even though it was mentioned that the data wouldn’t duplicate, it actually did. If I delete the old imported files, will my stats go back to normal or will it affect my recent imports too?
