Streaming a song on its album or single will make a duplicate of the same song

For example, if I stream What Was That by Lorde from the WWT single, it will count as a stream obviously. But if I stream it from the Virgin album or the Man Of The Year or Hammer single, the song will duplicate and appear with the amount of times I’ve streamed it on the respective single/album. This only happens to certain songs however, because for example if I stream Espresso by Sabrina Carpenter on its single, the song will not duplicate into a new version, but will just add a stream to the song regardless of whatever album/single I stream it on.
