Stats.fm QR page for Specter doesn't work

have been using Specter for 2 years now and I really love this thing. But I reinstalled Windows on my PC and had to log in to Specter again, and when I press the button "Start scanning" on my IPhone in stats.fm app, it just doesn't work. I also tried doing it on my android phone, and to no avail as well.
