stats not updating

my stats show that i've only listened to one song today at like 6:03, even though i've listened to probably 9 hours today. i've tried deleting the app, going into my settings to make sure it's set up correctly, and quiting the beta program. it still shows what song i’m listening to, just doesn't record it.
