Stat inaccuracy

So, my stats appear correct and go up as expected, yet when Spotify did the 20 year stats my number one listened to artist according to Spotify was 8k ish listens and on here I've listened to them over £9.5k. What's the reason for such a big difference? I now don't know what is accurate.
