Single streams getting calculated as extremely long plays from Spotify History

I just uploaded my extended Spotify streaming history and looked at my stats for 2024. I noticed that the “Top tracks” has some weird results, with a few songs appearing to have just one stream but 30+ minutes of playtime, despite being normal length tracks. E.g. my current number 1 track for 2024 is Weapon of Choice by Fatboy Slim (great song) with 1 play but 94 minutes of stream time despite being 5:45 in length. I promise I wasn’t spending an hour and a half constantly rewinding the song before it ended.

I suspect this has to do with how the stream data is parsed into the system, where if I start a track and then stop listening, only to pick it up again some time later (or starting another song when I get back on), it is being read as having played for that entire time or something. Regardless, this is clearly inaccurate and makes my Top tracks for the year unsatisfying to look at.
