Samsung Clock Spotify Alarm Issue

I use the Clock app on my phone (Samsung S23 Ultra) for my daily alarm. I have the songs Made Me This Way by Seraphine and Movement by Hozier as the two songs I use for it which are played from Spotify. However, there seems to be a bug with this app as 99% of the time I stop the alarm from ringing within a few seconds of it starting, but the app seems to think the song has played in its entirety, inflating the number of minutes listened for those two tracks on my account.
