Recently played songs not played

A couple of times I've noticed that songs that I haven't listened to is listed in the recently played section. At the same time I've actually listened to other songs that are listed correctly. On the two occasions it's two different songs that are listed several times after another. They are favourite songs of mine, but I haven't played them as listed. I've checked my Spotify account and recently played songs, and they aren't listed there…
