As of right now Stats fm has a big design flaw with its programming: it only allows one account to one Spotify account.
This creates problems when users attach the lifetime purchase of Plus to the wrong Spotify account, because the current technology doesn’t allow users to switch their account connection to the appropriate account. For example, say you have one account you never use, and one account you use most of the time, and you accidentally pay for Plus on your Stats FM account connected to the Spotify account you never use, and then you immediately realize, you just lost $7 because of Stats FM’s technology flaw.
There are two major solutions for how Stats FM should deal with this.
Long-term solution: Fix Stats FM connectivity so you can connect multiple Spotify accounts.
Short-term solution: This problem can easily be resolved by allowing someone who reached out to customer service about this issue to receive a one time $7 credit within the app, just enough to allow them to repurchase Plus for their appropriate Spotify/Stats FM account (Stats FM, if you’re reading this, me next please!)
Tl;dr: You shouldn’t have to pay $7 twice just to fix a stupid mistake in connecting between apps.
