Not your fault

So most of the time when I use Spotify I am playing some type of playlist such as discover weekly or my liked songs. And today I was checking my recently played on Spotify and it didn’t count most of the songs I played today.Which is very strange. Most of the time I am using Apple car play to stream Spotify. I played the songs all the way through. And this has translated into what is also displayed on this app. I don’t know if the tracks I played get counted or even the minutes.
