Not counting streams for new releases

I have over 40 streams for Vie (on last fm) and only 6 on this app. Songs show up in my listening history but almost never actually count as a stream. This keeps happening with new albums that come out as I had the exact same problem with Virgin. Honestly about to abandon this app entirely because it has been like 2 years and issues like these as well as duplicates/merging STILL have not been addressed.
