Multiple plays of songs I haven’t listened to

Over the last few weeks I’ve noticed tracks I didn’t think I’d listened to being counted in my history. Today I saw this happen in real time where a track I hadn’t listened to appeared in the middle of songs I had. Each time the erroneous track is by the artist I am listening to but appears as partial listens (usually 1 min) multiple times at the same time stamp. The highest I’ve seen is 7 times in a minute (physically impossible). This is now making the point of the app redundant. Would you be able to look into the cause?
