Listening history not syncing

For a while now my listening history hasn’t been syncing properly. Every once in a while something will show up but there are hours of listening missing. They show up on spotify but not on here. My sync is definitely on and it’s also not a problem with time lag (I’m not expecting real time updates) as this has been going on for a couple of weeks. Should also mention that the app always accurately shows what I’m currently listening to but it then doesn’t log it as listened. Any solutions will be much appreciated!
