Listening history not syncing

Recently whenever I check stats fm if I’m currently listening to music it won’t update in real time the songs that I’m listening to or have been listening to. Sometimes there will be as big of a gap in listening history as a couple hours, and sometimes it won’t ever sync those songs that I was listening to. Whats weird is that it shows that I’m listening to the song but it just won’t sync to my listening history for some reason. I have checked I have the setting on and even tried turning it off and back on but nothing seems to work
