Issue with spotify synced playlist

I have a spotify synced playlist set up for top 50 tracks of the past 30 days, sorted by time played. Recently it has been duplicating tracks (for example the top track is duplicated 6 times) despite there being no issues with the list in the stats fm app. Deleting and remaking the playlist did not help.
