is statsfm going to ever do anything about the broken app?
10+ MILLION paid users on this app and they ‘dont have any engineers’ to fix the app being half broken (we all paid) btw they have money. 24m users atleast half of us paid…. they can pay software devs or whatever they need there 70k a year to fix the app and make it usable

Thank you for saying what I've been thinking. There haven't been any useful updates to this app all year. With millions of paid users, someone needs to be working on this! I'm getting fed up. I can understand that merging the albums might be a tricky. But there are other issues (like artwork) that I imagine should be easier. And if it's gonna take this long to roll out these updates, at least have a team member come on here and tell us every few weeks how it's going. Because without communication, for all I know nothing's being done at all. It would be reassuring to know that these things are being actively worked on.

it seems in june/july statsfm notably admitted to the issues being issues and said they are working on a fix. now whoever runs their twitter accounts is purposely being ignorant claiming there are no issues

theres more issues you can name. album covers being wrong, horrible homescreen update we didnt want, deluxe and non deluxe albums not counting together, random album duplicated (for some reason theres 2 purple rain albums in my top 100) pink floyd and metallica notably are completely broken i have 5 master of puppets albums that all count at different streams even tho i only play the 1 i have saved, ‘Time’ by pink floyd randomly stopped updating in september and now counts all my streams of the song as a different version of it so a song that would be #1 on my all time is #3 and #10 with duplicates, the original dark side of the moon album is now being counted as the 50th anniversary album for no reason when i dont stream it at all completely useless app. apparentlly $70,000,000 isnt enough to spend a few thousand on a shitty software developer to fix this mobile app
