The app shows my all-time most played track as “It Never Ends – Live at the Royal Albert Hall” by Bring Me The Horizon, but this is incorrect.
It seems that stats.fm is merging plays from other songs on the same live album into this single track.
For example:
When I play “Drown – Live at the Royal Albert Hall” on Spotify, stats.fm detects it as “It Never Ends – Live at the Royal Albert Hall.”
Additionally, when I open the Live at the Royal Albert Hall album inside stats.fm, only 6 songs are displayed, while the actual Spotify album contains 16 tracks.
So, it looks like there’s an issue with how the app maps or groups track metadata for this live album.
Steps to reproduce:
Open the album Live at the Royal Albert Hall by Bring Me The Horizon on Spotify.
Play any song other than It Never Ends (e.g. Drown or Shadow Moses).
Open stats.fm and check the currently playing track or your all-time top songs.
You’ll see that stats.fm incorrectly logs it as It Never Ends – Live at the Royal Albert Hall.
Expected behavior:
Each track from the live album should be counted separately and not grouped under one song.
