“Improve you stats accuracy”
Has anyone tried the “new method” to fix your stats that appeared today? I know some people tried removing their files before and had issues uploading the files again.
If it works-GREAT! I’ll try it
But if it causes more issues-I’d rather wait for something that’ll actually fix our streams

honestly, when i reuploaded my listening history i noticed that there were more duplicate albums under artists profiles and i didn’t notice an improvement in accuracy unfortunately. but that’s just my experience. i think the bugs on here seem to be unique to different phone models. (EDIT: sorry i just realized this post is quite old)

I don’t mind! I always appreciate the responses:) I randomly check old posts and may comment too bc it helps boost post awareness so the app developers have a better chance of seeing the complaints!!
The re-upload fixed some major issues BUT there were definitely still missing stats and incorrect tracking. At the very least, my top lifetime tracks seem to be more accurate after I did the “fix”

For me, it fixed some important issues like top tracks but there are still missing stats and artist profiles and tracking that weren’t resolved and still hasn’t been corrected :(

I tried to do it yesterday – and the stats look way more accurate now but there are still some bugs left such as cloned albums and strange covers for singles (a lot of them use random screenshots from music videos)
