Bug Report: Incorrect Artist Splitting for Chen Li (陈粒) in stats.fm

Dear stats.fm Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to report a bug in the stats.fm app that is incorrectly splitting the play data of the Chinese artist 陈粒 (Chen Li) into two separate artist entries, which is causing inaccurate listening statistics.

Issue Details

- Problem Description: The app has split the same artist into two distinct entries:

1.  陳粒  (Chinese characters)

​

2.  Chen Li  (English transliteration)

​

- Data Inaccuracy:

​

- The  陳粒  entry only contains play data for her 2025 albums: 十年自选 (Ten Years Self-Selected) and 贴近大地 (Close to the Earth).

- All other albums and play data from her entire discography are incorrectly assigned to the  Chen Li  entry.

​

- Impact: This split prevents me from viewing my complete and accurate listening history for the artist, as the data is fragmented between two separate profiles.

Expected Behavior

The app should recognize  陳粒  and  Chen Li  as the same artist and consolidate all associated play data into a single artist profile, reflecting my full listening history correctly.
