Bug Report: Apple Music plays not tracking for downloaded songs

Hi stats.fm support team,

I am experiencing an issue where my Apple Music streams are not tracking correctly in the app. I am a stats.fm Plus user. Below are all the details of the problem:

1. Description of the issue & expected behavior:

What happened: The app only tracks and counts plays for songs that are streamed online (tracks not downloaded to my device). Any plays for songs that are downloaded locally to my iPhone library are completely ignored and do not update in my stats.

What I expected: All played songs (both downloaded and non-downloaded) to be registered and tracked accurately in stats.fm.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Play a downloaded song in the Apple Music app until it finishes completely.

2. Open stats.fm and perform a manual sync / import.

3. Check the top tracks/streams list — the plays for the downloaded song do not appear.

4. Play an online/streamed (non-downloaded) song, repeat the sync, and notice that this one does register properly.

Frequency: Consistent (happens 100% of the time with downloaded songs).

Pattern: Online/streamed songs register without issues; downloaded songs never count toward play stats.

3. Device & Account Information:

Platform & Device: iOS (iPhone 12 Pro)

OS Version: iOS 17

App Version: 2.11.0
