apple music will not connect to my iphone

randomly i was notified that my apple music needed reverifying, which is fine. however it kept saying i needed to enable media and apple music on the app. even after i disabled it completely, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, it still wouldn’t work. i don’t know what’s causing this to happen but please fix this asap!!
