Apple Music logs skipped songs
Apple Music is being logged as a full listen when skipping songs within a few seconds or even less of them starting while looking for something to listen to.

This is just true it should get fixed asap as people can easily abuse this for leaderboards and get maybe even 10k minutes of music A DAY 😭😭

This is such a big issue and still happening. @stats.fm product any updates on this? Is it somewhere on the roadmap of the integration with Apple Music?

Back (again), this is a blocker for me using Stats.fm - I’ve skipped tracks as soon as they come up and they’re being logged. Either this needs to be fixed or Apple Music support should be dropped entirely, with Stats.fm just being ‘promoted’ as a Spotify app. I can understand why to some extent given I’m assuming this is API dependent, but in its current state, the Apple Music connection is unusable.

Bump (if that’s a thing?!) - every skip is being logged for me. Which is kind of besides the point. There should be a way to delete those streams even as an interim solution if there’s an API issue that’s blocking this.

Can vouch this is still happening, I did get this app to see data and this sometimes can make things inaccurate and inflated streams and minutes.
