I’m in the beta program and in my opinion this is just doing to much. I don’t like it. Especially for new users i think it would be more confusing and harder to navigate.
New optics are never bad to begin with. Only the new UI of stats.fm is not good.
I liked that I could directly see my current streams (incl. number) of artists when starting the app. As well as scrollable to the right.
Furthermore, customizable limited to one week.
Instead there are now oversized tiles which do nothing but jump to the next tab Top. Useless and above all a waste of space.
The same with the stats.fm charts. These charts are completely US only and therefore useless for me. It says absolutely nothing about what is currently being listened to. It also provides me with no information for my Spotify profile.
It would be nice if you could hide these useless oversized tiles stats.fm charts as well as your top last 4 weeks.
The information content of the start page was almost completely lost with the customization.
