Spotify's api doesn't provide tracks that you haven't fully listened to. So we can't track them, but if you don't finish tracks a lot you can re-import your data. Your files will have those streams.

Apologies for the necropost, but if this is true, why are other scrobbling services able to count scrobbles earlier than that? (e.g. LastFM counting after half the song, or 4 minutes if the track is longer than 8 minutes).
I only posted this reply because I wanted to make a post asking if the requirement count could be changed, but I didn't wanna make a whole new post for something that had already been asked.
I am very interested in switching to stats.fm over LastFM, but the scrobble timing is a large dealbreaker for me, as I tend to skip some of the seconds of silence or fade-outs of a song, and thus my statistics would be misrepresented.
