Same songs but separate streams count?

If it's the exact same song doesn't matter if it was released as a single first, it should count the number of streams or time listening as a total. But currently if I listened to the single and then start listening to the album track, it counts separately which is very annoying. And the singles don’t count as number of streams or time listening for the album AAAAAAAAA please fix it 😭
