Same Song under multiple titles

It’s more spotifys fault but I think it’s weird for different stats to be on the EXACT same song but one was re-released in a deluxe album. Basically this is what happened to me with the song White Walls by Macklemore and a bunch of people and I don’t really care it’s just weird I have 99 listens on one version and 110 on the exact same song that was released as a single??? Like why doesn’t the app recognise they are the same song
