Yes. This is terrible. I know people say this whenever the UI of anything changes, but the most recent iteration of the UI was literally perfect. Fix the PERFORMANCE of the app.

if you click on your profile pic in the top right corner you can get back to the old homepage

Yes! And in preferences (layout & content) you can even move it to the navigation bar for a more comfortable access.

I agree, it just seems really messy and laggy and the old versions was really practicable

or at least having the profile page as the default startup page. When reordering layout, the first one should be the default.

I totally agree, please get rid of this update, it is so annoying to navigate and I do not like how the home page looks at all! The little bubbles of my top ____ over the last 4 weeks does not look good and is much more annoying to read

Tbh I think it’s fine. Of course it needs to be improved but this way the stats.fm and swipefy charts aren’t mixed with the search. And your old home feed still exists – tap the profile button which you can even move to the navigation bar for easier access!
A compromise would be to be able to set your profile as the tab that appears when you open the app.

Click the Gear Icon Top Right go to Layout & Content Scroll to Navigation bar Edit buttom tabs Drag Profile to the Top Go back In the Preview of the Navigation Bar Select your Profile (either your pfp or the profile person) now you will see the old Profile tab again

Edit buttom tabs
Drag Profile to the Top
Go back
In the Preview of the Navigation Bar Select your Profile (either your pfp or the profile person)
