Please remove people with fake streams

Feature Request

Many people stream an artist/song overnight with zero volume just to get top 3, they loop the same thing over and over and it’s really annoying, I want to only see genuine listeners in the top 1000, I promise you very, very few people have genuinely listened to an artist for a million minutes (2 years btw)

It’s very easy to spot fakes, they consistently get over 1000 minutes a day and even break the app by getting over 1440 a day. Additionally their cumulative looks like a straight line—another way to spot them. I believe this is a good idea to remove them because it shows genuine listeners and makes it easier to find real fans. Not fakers solely doing it for records and to flex

    I can say, I’ll stream a whole album or even set a radio station up on apple music and ill sit there and listen the entire album while I work, relax, etc.

    I don’t think that your request is feasible/reasonable even.

    Just sounds like your pressed about not being #1 on a niche artist.

    Some people do actually listen to the same songs over and over on loop thou like I listen to some of favorite songs on loop especially when i’m listening to music while working or reading or I listen to new songs on loop to learn them faster. I listened to one song so much in 3 months that the band became my number 2 band for the year when that was the only song I listened to by them at the time. How would you differentiate those people from the fake listeners?

      Yes!! Especially if it’s an artist I love and I have a concert of theirs coming up. I will listen to the songs over and over and over to learn the word faster.
