Please for the love of God let us make our profile the default launch screen

I am so tired of these updates that seemingly make it more and more difficult to access the only page on the app that I care about. I don't really want or need that new activity feed, and I think that the home page that was added months ago is completely awful in every way and always has been. I want my profile button back at the middle of the screen and for the app to launch directly there.
