The other upvoter here, it seems that records now have history, and has an Active/Lost status. I haven't lost a record to confirm, so I'm not sure how a lost record would show up on the record list, but it seems that it has been implemented?
(Nvm, current implementation seems to just hide the record from the list. Mine shows 9 records but the list only has 8. Very confusing.
