This will be done by stats.fm Employees and users will not be able to do this.
There will also be a feature to report incorrectly merged items or request something be merged.
You can now report artists, tracks and albums that need to be merged at the bottom of the artist, track and album pages (on the latest app version or the website).

Not only Deluxe or Remaster versions, there are also double albums for some strange Spotify bug (see In Rainbows by Radiohead: there are 2, nobody knows why, and I have it in my stats twice, at 28th and 29th place…)

This is an absolute must for an app like this. Artists frequently re-upload and some of us have the same album appearing 5+ times just in our top 20 albums lol.

I would say so. The only thing a music stats app has to do right is track music stats. If it’s not doing that, it’s completely broken. Full stop.

Tom Petty and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and the original Taylor Swift releases shouldn't be combined with Taylor's Versions imo.

kuzronk: yes, the TVs are different, the songs are not the same, so the albums shouldn't be merged either. That's not like a deluxe version or songs that are on a compilation.

amira 🪩✨🎀: On the album page I would rather the TV's be standalone for example Red (TV) counts as it's own album while Red + Red (Deluxe Edition) + Red (Big Machine Radio Release Special) + Red (Deluxe Version) (stolen version) is one entry.
