I find it quite strange that the song limit on created playlists is set at 250, while playlists cap out somewhere around 5000 if I recall correctly. Since you can keep scrolling past number 250 in your listening ”top list”, there should be enough data to make them longer.
I would love to make a set of playlists with as much of my lifetime stats as possible, but it’ll take days to add them manually.
So going by listening stats, adding track #1-#2000 should be possible. Then maybe #2001-4000, and so on.
That would be great.
Also, I listened to a lot of comedy albums and ASMR stuff back in the day, and I would love to be able to scour them from my history, so they don’t show up in my playlists.
I can of course remove them in the Spotify app manually, and block the artist from playing. But a feature to sort of streamline this would be nice.
Quite frankly, I blame Spotify for failing to distinguish spoken word content from music, like they do with podcasts nowadays.
