Local Finals Counting Towards original creators

I’m sure this has been suggested before but I might have a idea that could work. This would probably be time consuming to program but it’s just a thought. Currently Local files arnt counted towards any artist, obviously. I have a bunch of songs from teezo touchdown that he only uploaded on SoundCloud, i transfered these over to Spotify and they don’t count, again, obviously. My idea is that within the stats.fm app there’s a page of some sort where your local files are stored. When you click there you see all the songs your brought there. You can then click on the song and have a option to “add artist”. Then it would have a list of artist you can select from. Possibly having an added search bar so u can add it to that artist. Then program it to count towards it. Easier said than done, I know, but just an idea that I fill maybe could be possible?
