Local File Listening Data Tracking (ex: on Sony Walkmans)

I've been a long time user, and I love this app so much. However, I am migrating away from Spotify for a variety of reasons. My plan is to get a Sony Walkman A307 and have all my music stored as local files. That version of the Walkman has the Play Store and is able to download apps. Are you considering working on adapting the app to track listening data for local files? I really hate to give up this app after all my time spent on it. Please tell me you are working on this feature!
