I have now been able to reproduce a very specific behavior.
When I listen through Apple Music Web on Microsoft Edge on my Windows laptop, Stats.fm syncs the streams instantly.
However, when I then log in to Apple Music Web through the browser on my iPhone and start playing music there, the iPhone streams immediately begin syncing — and at the same time, the laptop streams stop syncing.
I tested this while actively listening on both devices.
This makes it appear that Stats.fm is only recognizing one Apple Music web session/device at a time, rather than syncing streams from all of my devices.
Previously, the laptop browser was the active session and synced normally. After starting playback through the iPhone browser, the iPhone became the session that was being recognized, while the laptop stopped being recognized.
This seems to explain why, since August 5, Stats.fm has appeared to randomly choose which device/session to sync.
My expected behavior is that streams should be tracked regardless of whether I listen on my iPhone, Windows app, or Apple Music Web.
This is especially important because I listen much more frequently on my iPhone than on my laptop.
Could you please investigate whether there is a recent change or bug causing Live Scrobbling to associate my account with only one active Apple Music session/device at a time?
