i am a ui developer, and the new ui is in my professional opinion dogsh#t

I'm a game developer and like to work on ui, i hope that that makes clear how serious i am about this.

This app is inherently about showing all the statistics Spotify isn't showing you, so the main focus of the ui should be to show as much statistics in the clearest way possible. It is about basically bombarding the user with as much statistics as you can eithout completely overwhelming them. In any other app/game, this would be bad, but here it is the entire point of the application.



The redesign makes it hard to get to the actual info, and ironically makes the information way more cluttered than the old design. The main screen shows nothing, so you are essentially forced to go into the detailed view, which is too information dense to understand any of it without thinking a lot. You're achieving the opposite of what you were trying to do.



Whenever i go into the app, i now have to immediately go to my profile (which isn't made clear that that is even an option the slightest) to see anything usefull. This has made my experience with the app a lot worse, and i have been here sinds somewhere in 2021 and have been a premium user almost from day one.
