Group repeated plays to create a better lens for a user's favorite songs

A user's top songs sometimes show the songs that they “played on repeat for the longest”, which might not be the songs that are truly their favorites (e.g. falling asleep while listening).

To show the user's favorite songs through a different lens, it would be super useful to group repeats into a single ”event” with the same weight as a single non-repeated play of the song.

Play counts and minutes are great.. this could just be a third lens that emphasizes the songs that a user “comes back to the most”.

There are other ways to get a similar effect, like “number of days on which this song was played”, if that's seen as more accessible.
