Features to Make the App More Personalized and Interactive

Hello, I’m Bianca, and I’ve been a StatsFM user for a while now. I’d like to share some feedback with features that I’d really love to see in the app. So, here we are!

StatsFM is an excellent tool for checking out your Spotify streaming stats, but to make it a bit more interactive, I’d like to see some features that I think could make the app even better.

  1. Profile Banner

    • It would be awesome if users could add a banner to the background of their profile. This would make it more personal, unique, and customizable.

  2. Color Customization at the Bottom of the Profile

    • I feel like the colors on the app are pretty basic and don’t really fit the user’s personality. It’d be nice to have more customization options to make the profile look more interesting and stand out.

  3. Pinning Albums on the Profile

    • Allow users to pin albums to their profile. You could pin an album, show its cover, and have your stream numbers next to it. This would be something you want others to see when they visit your profile.

  4. Pinning Artists on the Profile

    • Similar to albums, you could pin an artist to your profile, so it appears right under your stats. You could even choose to hide specific artists you don’t want on your profile, giving more control over what people see.

  5. Achievement Badges

    • I know there are already a thing like this in the app, but I’m talking about a badge system tied to the number of streams you have. For example, a badge next to your name for:

      • Bronze: 1,000 plays

      • Silver: 10,000 plays

      • Gold: 50,000 plays

      • Platinum: 100,000 plays (with a subtle shine)

      • Diamond: 1,000,000 plays (with an intense shine)
These badges would make users feel rewarded for their achievements and encourage them to engage more with the app. It would give people a reason to listen to more artists and use the app more often.

  6. Posting Feature

    • It would be great to have a feature where you can post about the music you’re listening to or just share a thought related to a song, but not turning the app into a social media platform. It should stay music-focused, which would make the app more interactive without it becoming toxic.

  7. No Follower System

    • I really recommend avoiding the addition of a follower system. Adding followers to StatsFM could make it too competitive and social, which can turn toxic, like other apps with followers. The moment you bring followers into the equation, it becomes something where people might stop using the app if they don’t have a lot of followers. So, keeping the app free of followers would help keep it relaxed and fun.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my suggestions! I really appreciate your attention and the opportunity to share these ideas. I’m excited to see how StatsFM continues to evolve.
