Album Covers Replaced by Random Images

Since the latest update, the artwork shown for songs has become a complete mess.

It used to display the actual album cover for the album each song belongs to, which made perfect sense. Now it's showing random images instead – pictures of the band, frames from music videos or other unrelated artwork. It feels completely inconsistent and honestly looks pretty messy.

What happened? Was this an intentional change? And are there any plans to revert it so that songs once again display their proper album covers instead of all these random images?
